FY 2004 YEAR-END CLOSING SCHEDULE:
To assist the campus community in meeting deadlines for fiscal year-end
activities, the FY 2004 closing schedule has been set by Business
Operations, Purchasing, and Financial Accounting and Reporting Services.

WEATHER RELATED WARNINGS:
The warning siren located on Baker Hall will sound a steady tone,
three-minute blast for severe weather/tornado warnings. The warning
siren requires action. Take shelter immediately. The warning siren

MY WATERLOO DAYS BUTTONS: My
Waterloo Days buttons may be purchased for $5 at the UNI-Dome, NW
Upper office. These buttons are for admission to events on Saturday

ANNIVERSARIES/MILESTONES WANTED:
University Marketing & Public Relations is interested in learning
about any upcoming milestones for campus entities. For example, Rod
Library will celebrate its 40th anniversary and 1 millionth volume

The Cataloging and Acquisitions departments of the Rod Library have
merged to form one single department called Technical Services. For

27TH STREET/MINNESOTA STREET INTERSECTION:
Access to Minnesota Street and the West Gym 'A' Lot is available via
27th Street from Hudson Road. Phase II reconstruction of 27th Street
has begun between Minnesota Street and Ohio Street.

E-MAIL PROTECTION:
ITS is currently evaluating an anti-spam/anti-virus appliance to help
protect UNI e-mail accounts from unwanted mail. The evaluation phase
began Tuesday, May 18, and will last for two weeks. If that evaluation
is deemed "successful," ITS will purchase the appliances and the service
provided will continue without interruption. For additional details

SUMMER DINING SERVICE:
Chats in Maucker Union and 23rd Street Market at Commons are open
weekdays. Chats hours: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. 23rd Street Market hours: 8
a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with the Red Hat Deli, soup, salad bar, and hot dogs
available 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Prexy's in Maucker Union will open when
service to conference and orientation guests begins in early June.

CREME DE LA CREME 4 AT THE GBPAC: Friends
of the Gallagher-Bluedorn will present Creme de la Creme 4 Sunday,
June 6, at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall, GBPAC. (Note the change in time
