CONSTRUCTION NOTICE - CAMPUS
ST./MISSOURI ST. INTERSECTION: Beginning
Friday May 14, the Campus St./Missouri St. intersection will be closed
for reconstruction. This work is part of the 2004 Institutional Roads
reconstruction program. The existing pavement surrounding the Visitor
Information Center on Campus Street will also be reconstructed. Weather
permitting, the Campus St./Missouri St. intersection will re-open
to traffic on Friday, May 28.

INDIVIDUAL STUDIES OFFICE MOVE:
The Individual Studies Office has moved to a new location, 2637 Hudson
Road (formerly the Conferences and Event Services Office). Mail code,
fax and phone numbers remain the same.

UNI TIES TO SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES:
University Marketing & Public Relations is seeking opportunities to
pitch Olympic Games-related stories and experts to the media. If you
know of UNI individuals, programs or organizations with ties to the
games (athletes, volunteers, fans, experts, historians, etc.), e-mail

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE -
ITTC (EAST GYM RENOVATION):
Beginning Tuesday May 18, the general contractor for the Innovative
Teaching and Technology Center (East Gym Renovation) will begin installation
of fencing surrounding the building and adjacent construction limits.
The western one third of the Bartlett "A" parking lot will become
part of the construction limits. The remaining eastern two-thirds
of the parking lot will remain open. The project is expected to be
completed in January 2006.

CONVOCATION ROBES: Professional
& Scientific staff members who have advanced degrees and are eligible
to wear a hood with their robes are invited to march with the faculty
in the convocation procession Sunday, Aug. 22, at 4 p.m., in the GBPAC.

ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENT:
Effective Monday, May 17, Roland Carrillo will assume the role of
executive director of Enrollment Management. Roland will provide leadership
to the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid. Recruitment efforts
are underway for fall 2005 and the timing of this appointment will
allow Roland to actively participate in recruitment initiatives.

CAMPUS SUPPLY DRAWING WINNERS:
This quarter's winners of HP products from Campus Supply are Teresa
Hilbert at Maucker Union and Sue Jordan of Curriculum & Instruction.
Sue and Teresa can choose from a list of HP cameras, scanners and
printers for use in their departments.

SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT:
Students who have graduated in the spring, and are not enrolled at
UNI for summer or fall coursework, are not eligible to work as student
employees over the summer. If you have questions, contact Student

MEMFIS TRAINING: MEMFIS
Phase I training will be offered this summer on a "need to know" basis.

Additional dates have been added to the summer massage schedule. Massages
will be offered Tuesday, May 11, Tuesday, May 18, Wednesday, May 19,
as well as Tuesdays and Wednesdays in June beginning with Tuesday,
June 8. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The cost is $10 for
