PRAIRIE FILM PREMIERE MOVING TO THE GBPAC:
Because of overwhelming public interest, the premiere of the documentary
"America's Lost Landscape: The Tallgrass Prairie," is being moved
to the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. It will take place
at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 30. The event is free and open to the
public. Reservations are not required. Parking will be available in

COVERLET SALE: The
Friends of the UNI Museums offer a commemorative coverlet featuring
illustrations of well-known campus buildings. The coverlet is made
in the United States of preshrunk 100 percent cotton, machine washable
and colorfast. Available in several colors, it sells for $45 or $50
to mail. Coverlets can be purchased at the University Museum, 3-2188.

Library is redesigning its Web site and invites comments on a new
prototype. Submit comments via the form at

be in place for the start of the fall semester.

The UNI Career Services office will move from the East Gym to Gilchrist

Stephen's Catholic Student Center is hosting a fundraiser dinner on

All proceeds will benefit three children's homes in Tijuana, Mexico.

PRESENTATION ON BURMESE REFUGEES: Jeannie
Steele and Kurt Meredith will present, "Children, Education and Democracy:
Three Pillars of Hope for Burmese Refugees Living in Thailand," on
Friday, April 30, 9-10 a.m., in SEC 247. Steele and Meredith have
been training teachers in Burmese refugee camps, addressing the critical
need for education in that community.

U-BILLS GOING ELECTRONIC:
Beginning in September 2004, u-bills will be delivered electronically
through MyUNIverse. Paper bills will no longer be mailed to enrolled
students or their parents. Students with a balance will receive an
e-bill reminder in their University e-mail account and should review
bills through MyUNIverse. The August 2004 u-bill will be sent to students
in both formats, paper and electronic, to ease the transition. Contact
