STRATEGIC PLAN: The
Board of Regents, State of Iowa, approved a new 2004-2009 Strategic
Plan at their February 2004 meeting. Each of the three public universities
has been asked to submit their respective strategic plans for review
at the January 2005 Board meeting. A Strategic Planning Review Committee,
formed by President Koob in April 2003 to review the University's
current Strategic Plan for 2001-2006, has been meeting regularly.
To coincide with the timeframe of the Board of Regents Strategic Plan,
the review committee is now drafting a 2004-2009 plan for campus review
and approval by December 1, 2004. To view the current draft of the
2004-2009 plan, please visit the Web site at
http://www.uni.edu/stratplan. Committee members are listed on
the Web site.
