NEWS 

BOR MEETING: The Board of Regents, State of Iowa, will meet via telephone conference call at 3 p.m, Wednesday, Jan. 14. PROCUREMENT CARD REPORTS: Any department wishing a copy of their annual procurement card expenditures should contact Purchasing at 3-3524. These reports are available as a summary by department and/or itemization by individual card holder.

STAFF TRAINING GRANT CHANGES: Following are the new reimbursement procedures for 2004: UNI staff enrolled at UNI will receive a credit applied directly to their U-Bill at the beginning of the semester. Reimbursement for staff enrolled at other institutions will continue to be paid at the end of the semester. Applications for spring '04 are due Feb. 1, and can be found at http://access.uni.edu/forms/index.shtml For more information, contact Kim Schares at 3-6060.

EXHIBITS/FILMS/LECTURES
ART EXHIBIT: From Jan. 12 through Feb. 8 the UNI Gallery of Art will present "Convention and Invention: An Exhibition of Publication Design" featuring the traveling exhibition "50 Books/50 Covers," which is organized by the American Institute for Graphic Arts. In addition, three artists are highlighted: Douglas Holleley, international book artist; Nikki McClure, papercutter and book artist; and Walter Hamady, printmaker, papermaker and poet.
