been elevated to "high" (orange). While no specific threats
have been
identified in our area, please pay extra attention to safety and security

PROGRAMS CANCELLED: Both of
the UNI Museums' A-Z Institute programs -
Dec. 29 (K Day) and Dec. 30 (L Day) have been cancelled.

DIRECT DEPOSIT NOTICES: Payday
is Dec. 31. Staff direct deposit notices
may be pick-up at the Mail Center from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday,
Dec. 31.
Direct deposit notices not picked up on that date will be delivered
in
campus mail on Monday, Jan. 5. Staff paychecks will be mailed as usual
to staff home address. December paychecks and direct deposit notices
for
students are mailed to the student's home, not local address.

LEARN TO SWIM: Register now
for the Paddling Panther Learn-to-Swim
program for the spring semester. This program is available to
children of UNI students, faculty and staff. American Red Cross Water
Safety Instructors will teach preschool through Level VII. The classes
take place on Saturday mornings at 9, 10 and 11. The cost is $35
for a full session or $17 for a half session. Contact Chris Denison

FALL GRADES: Deadline for fall
grades is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.
The Registrar's Office will be open for grade drop off Dec. 22 and
23,
8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Dec. 24, 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
