UNI FACULTY & STAFF ENCOURAGED TO GET FLU SHOT:
The Iowa Department of Public Health announced
late last week that it is strongly encouraging all Iowans to get an
influenza vaccination. UNI faculty and staff can get flu shots on
campus this week. The UNI Student Health Clinic will host immunization
clinics from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 8, 9,
and 10. Check-in is at the Schindler Education Center. The flu shot
is $15 and is covered under UNI's health insurance plan. If you do
not have insurance through UNI, the cost can be put on payroll deduction.

LIFE INSURANCE BENEFICIARIES:
Beneficiary confirmation letters need to be returned to Human Resource
Services (0034) by Dec. 12. For questions, contact HRS at 3-2422.

SMALL ENVELOPES: If
you have an abundance of small campus envelopes, send them to the
Mail Center to be recirculated. Also, if you have any any department
envelopes that could be reused, the Mail Center will circulate them
as well.

LIBRARY NOTICE: Deadline
for full-time tenured or tenure-track instructional faculty members
to apply for library study rooms for the spring semester is Friday,
Dec. 12. Application forms are available in the library's main office.

January 2004, catering and meeting space at the Commons and Maucker
Union can be reserved two years in advance. This is a change from
the previous one-year-out policy. For additional information, contact

22, 9 a.m. - noon, University Museum. Come and learn about Ireland,
taste some traditional food, learn to dance a jig and count to 10

for Friends of the Museums members; $20 for non-members. Fee includes
