FACULTY AND STAFF DAY AT MEN'S BASKETBALL: All
UNI faculty and staff have the opportunity to receive a free ticket
to the game against Butler on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 7:05 p.m. in the UNI-Dome.

MASCOT HONORS: UNI's
Mascot, Tommy Cat (T.C.), recently received a paid bid to the Universal
Cheerleaders Association (UCA) National Collegiate Spirit Competition
to be held in January in Orlando. Performed by UNI junior Brant Haywood,
T.C. is currently ranked fourth in the nation. The paid bid covers
all the registration, hotel and airfare costs.

HAVE YOURSELF A PURPLE HOLIDAY: The
President's Office and GBPAC are providing an opportunity for the
entire family to see "The Nutcracker" at the 2 p.m. matinee on Nov.
29. All faculty and staff will receive 50 percent discount on adult
tickets and 'A Buck A Kid' for youth 18 and under. Santa will be available
for pictures beginning at 1 p.m. in the lobby. Call 273-SHOW for tickets.

UNI TRANSPORTATION SURVEY: Metropolitan
Transit Authority (MET), the UNI Physical Plant, and Department of
Geography have prepared an anonymous survey on campus transportation
perceptions and commuter travel behavior. The survey should take no
more than five minutes and is available on MyUNIverse through Nov.
30. Log in to MyUNIverse and click on the link to the survey under
"Current Announcements" or "Voting and Surveys."

VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS EARN ACADEMIC HONORS: Seniors
Jill Arganbright and Molly O'Brien were named first team CoSIDA (College
Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All-District VII,
while junior Jessi Worrell was a second-team selection. Arganbright
holds a 3.97 GPA in Biology/Chemistry; O'Brien holds a 3.86 GPA in
Physical Education/ Teaching; and Worrell holds a 3.92 GPA in Biology-Biomedical.

UNI HOLIDAY CARDS: Now
available from UM&PR. The cards feature a photo on the front and holiday
message inside. No blank cards are available. The cost is $8 per 10
and includes blank envelopes (A-6). To order, call 3-2761. Order deadline

AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK: UNI

reaching more than 1700 students. Programs include communication skills,
