TEAM BUILDING EXERCISE: "Team
Development Skills," a workshop on team-building will take place Wednesday,
Aug. 13. This interactive half-day session uses short lectures, large-
and small-group discussions, specific examples and individual exercises

WEBCT WORKSHOPS FOR FACULTY:
ITS-Educational Technology is offering free WebCT workshops for faculty
Aug. 18-20 from 8:30 a.m. until noon. These classes are for faculty
who need a refresher on how to use WebCT, who want to see the new
features of 3.8, or for those who have never used WebCT before. WebCT
is an environment that allows faculty to create online courseware
as a supplement to an existing face-to-face course, or helps you create

NEW
AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM:
A new authentication system is in place for access to MyUNIverse;
administrative Web applications such as registration, residence contracting,
parking permits, viewing financial aid awards and U-bills; as well
as login to computers in the ITS Student Computer Centers. For further

"G"
LOT LOTTERY:
The Parking Division of the Department of Public Safety will be accepting
names for the 2003-04 "G" lot lottery through 5 p.m. August 8. Requests
must be submitted via email or written form. Names for the "G" lot
will be drawn sometime during the week of August 11. Letters will
be sent via campus mail advising people of their position in the lottery.

RESERVE LIST:
The deadline for reinstating summer 2003 course reserves for the fall
2003 semester is August 6. New reserve lists for fall semester should
be submitted no later than Aug. 11. For questions call the Multi-

Season tickets for Theatre UNI's 2003/04 season at the Strayer-Wood

SUMMER
RESEARCH POSTER SESSION:
CNS Students will report on their summer research projects at a poster
session from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, in the Great Reading
Room, Seerley 116. Keynote speaker is Dr. Stanley Schultz, dean of
the College of Medicine at the University of Texas, Houston, whose
address is titled "King Cholera Dethroned!" The meeting is sponsored
by the Merck/American Association for the Advancement of Science Undergraduate
Science Research Program. The meeting is open to the public and free
of charge.

ART
EXHIBIT:
The exhibit "Rie Hachiyanagi: A Retrospective" is open to the public
now through Aug. 3 in the KAB Gallery of Art. The exhibit consists
of six large-scale installations made primarily of handmade paper
and photographic documentation of performance art works.
