WEBCT WORKSHOPS FOR FACULTY:
ITS-Educational Technology
is offering free WebCT workshops for faculty Aug. 18-20 from 8:30
a.m. until noon.
These classes are for faculty who need a refresher on how to use WebCT,
who want
to see the new features of 3.8, or for those who have never used WebCT
before. WebCT is an environment that allows faculty to create online
courseware as a supplement to an existing face-to-face course, or
helps
you create a course that is completely online. For more information,

GATEWAY TO LIBRARY AND INTERNET

The UNI community is
invited to preview the new library gateway while it is in the final
stages of

the library's Electronic Resources Committee at liberc@uni.edu. The
gateway will officially debut on Monday, Aug. 4, and will be accessible
from the library's homepage.

take place July 22 at ISU. This workshop, hosted by the Iowa Recycling

MSH ELEVATOR OUT OF SERVICE:
The elevator at McCollum Science
Hall will be reduced to very limited service starting July 28. The
work
will take approximately three weeks. Service will be limited to
transportation of a small amount of equipment. Passengers will
not be allowed until the renovation is complete. Call Steve Pavelec,

OF OZ:
Sturgis Youth Theatre, under the direction of Gretta
Berghammer, will present it's fourth annual all-youth production,
"The Wizard of Oz," July 17 - 19 at 7 p.m. at the Oster Regent
Theatre.

ART EXHIBIT: The exhibit "Rie
Hachiyanagi: A Retrospective" is open to
the public now through Aug. 3 in the KAB Gallery of Art. The exhibit
consists of six large-scale installations made primarily of handmade
paper and photographic documentation of performance art works.
