UNI LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: Faculty,
staff and students are invited to attend an on-campus legislative
briefing at noon Friday, April 18, in Gilchrist 207. Keith Saunders,
associate director of UNI's Governmental Relations Office, will give
an update about potential economic development appropriations for
UNI as well as updates concerning education, capital and salary budgets.

Elisabeth Kehrer, Austrian Consul General, will speak on "Europe in
the New Geopolitics" on Monday April 21 at 3 p.m. in CBB 109. Kehrer
has been part of Austria's permanent representation at the United
Nations in New York and worked on common security and foreign policy
at the European Union. Coordinated by the Department of Political
Science.
