UNI/Community Spanish Speakers meet every Friday from 3-4 p.m. at

X-SKIING AND SNOWSHOEING:
Visit Clear Lake Lodge, MN with UNI Outdoors for a winter adventure,

LEGISLATIVE PUBLIC FORUM: A
Legislative Public Forum hosted by local agencies and organizations,
including UNI, will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Area
Education Agency 7, 3712 Cedar Heights Drive, Cedar Falls. The public
is invited to hear remarks from area legislators and ask questions.
UNI guests are encouraged to raise questions about higher education;
including topics such as workstudy, student debt, quality of student
education, graduates staying in the state, UNI's role in economic
development and the need for full salary funding.

PA ANNOUNCERS NEEDED: The Athletic
Department is looking for an energetic person(s) to announce at UNI
baseball and softball games. Both baseball and softball home seasons
start the last weekend in March and commence in mid-May. Games are

NUHS CHOIR TELEVISION PROGRAM:
The Northern University High School Concert Choir (Price Lab) is featured
on "Hotline Happenings", a CFU Channel 15 program, for the
next 30 days. The choir and director Linda Sharp will be performing
a solo concert, "Iowa Culture", and will participate in
a festival choir singing Schubert's "Mass in G" in Carnegie

gravity with fun hands-on activities, eat space food, and hear from
UNI students who have been a part of NASA's Weightless Wonder Program.
This program is appropriate for 3rd-6th graders. Please register by
