accept charges to u-bill, payroll deduction and cash. All dining centers

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: The
Management & Professional Development Center will present "Creating
a Motivating Work Environment" on Jan. 28 and repeated Feb. 18;
and "Guiding Employees Through Change" on Feb. 13 and repeated
March 6. These workshops are part of the MPDC's Management Training
Consortium, UNI employees are offered a discounted fee of $140. Workshops
are held in 1-3 CBB from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Workshop fee includes student
materials, lunch, and light morning and afternoon refreshments. To

BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM:
Registrations are being accepted in the Management and Professional
Development Center’s Business and Management Certificate Program
to begin February 10. The five-month, 80-hour program is designed
along the lines of an abridged MBA andis geared toward those new to
management or technical professionals moving into management who want
to improve their business skills.Sessions will be held twice per month

CONCERT:
Ja Rule will be in concert Thursday, Feb. 13, at 8 p.m. in the UNI-Dome.
His special guest will be Eve. Tickets, at $25 for UNI students and
$30 for all others, will go on sale at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 16
at all UNI ticket outlets. They also are available at tickets.uni.edu,

9. The UNI Gallery of Art presents two exhibitions, "Deborah
Zlotsky" and "Crit Streed." Zlotsky will lecture on
her work at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the KAB Auditorium,
Room 111. An opening reception will follow the lecture. Support for
the Zlotsky presentation comes from the Martha Ellen Tye Visiting

BEETHOVENFEST! A SONATA OPEN HOUSE:
Saturday afternoon, Jan. 11, from 2 – 7 p.m. in GBPAC, Davis
Hall. The five-hour marathon presentation of all 10 Beethoven sonatas
for violin and piano--interspersed with historical commentary and
accompanied by food and wine--features graduate and undergraduate
students as well as returning alumnae. This matinee performance
features table seating and a relaxed atmosphere. Come for a few sonatas,
