LAST CHANCE FLU VACCINATION
CLINIC: The Student Health Clinic on campus is offering
one more flu vaccination clinic, Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Health
Clinic, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Price is $12 and insurance claim forms
may be picked up in advance at the Student Health Clinic. Call Margaret

NEW ONLINE E-MAIL AND PHONE
DIRECTORY: The online E-mail and Phone Directory
has been re-written and is now in production. The new version includes
a more robust search feature, including phonetic searches and restricting
a search to 'student only' or 'faculty/staff only'. Directory listings
may be customized by adding preferred name, other e-mail addresses
and phone numbers, instant messenger ID's, or restricting the release
of directory information. The URL has changed to http://access.uni.edu/phone/
so change any links ondepartmental pages.

MYUNIVERSENEWS
HOLIDAY DEADLINE:
The deadline will change for MyUNIverseNews due to the Thanksgiving
holidays. Deadline for items to be included in the Mon., Dec. 2 edition
of MyUNIverseNews is Wed., Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. There will be no UNI
Online on Nov. 28.

A new Web site that offers information about the liberal arts core
including requirements, course descriptions and availability, transfer
credit, category statements for use in course syllabi, and useful

RETIREMENTS:
Transportations Services and the Motor Pool are losing two staff members
with a combined 50 years of service in the next 45 days. Manager Alvin
Kyhl is retiring Tuesday, Dec. 3 and a reception will be held in the
Transportation Services garage at the Physical Plant from 2-3:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, Dec 3. Dee Sheerer is officially retiring Jan. 3; her
reception will be Friday, Dec. 20 in the carpenter shop area of the
Physical Plant from 2-3:30 p.m. Stop by and wish them well.

PARKING AT WRC:
WRC users will be allowed to park in the lots near the WRC without
paying the $3 parking fee being charged during the football playoffs.
If you have a UNI parking pass you will be waved in. The days affected
include Nov. 22 and 23.

AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK:
American Education Week is Nov. 17-23. This year's theme is "Making
Public Schools Great For Every Child." UNI is promoting American
Education Week in local schools with a variety of programs. KWWL will
be taping several Cedar Valley schools and classrooms promoting American
Education Week. Some of these spots will highlight UNI graduates and
student teachers. These promotions will air Monday through Friday
during the 6 p.m. news.
