EMPLOYEE RESOURCES

WEBCT WORKSHOPS FOR FACULTY
: ITS-Educational Technology is
offering free WebCT workshops on Oct. 4, 11, and 18 at 9 am
for UNI faculty. WebCT is a system that allows you to create
online courseware as a supplement to an existing face-to-face
course, or helps you create a course that is completely online.
These classes are for those who would like a refresher on how
to use WebCT as well as for those who have never used WebCT.
To create courses in WebCT it is helpful to have some experience
in creating Web pages. For more information, visit
http://www.webct.uni.edu/support/workshops.htm or call 3-2309.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE YOU CARE ABOUT:
We see them nearly every day, e-mails with headlines begging to be passed on.
The vast majority, however, are hoaxes and urban legends. Virus warnings may
also be a hoax, and following their instructions could damage your
computer. Passing these e-mails unverified on to your friends and
relatives clogs the Internet and e-mail servers. Before forwarding
them and contributing to the problem, please check the page below
for reputable resources to verify or debunk the stories.
