DOR AUCTION: Wednesday, July 17, 10 a.m., in the parking lot between
Noehren Hall and Hudson Road, the DOR will auction off the following:
chairs, desks, kitchen equipment, office furnishings and office
equipment. A complete list of offerings plus photos are on the Web at

NEW LIBRARY DEAN: Marilyn Mercado has been appointed dean of Library
Services, effective July 1. Mercado had served as interim dean
following the retirement of Herb Safford.
NEW EMPLOYEES: Following are UNI's newest P & S hires: Joseph
Ogah, field project coordinator/Fante, HPELS; Rebecca Reedy,
development associate, Broadcasting Services; Jane Zehr, physician
assistant, Health Clinic.
THEATRE TICKETS ON SALE: Theatre UNI announces its 2002/03 25th
anniversary season in the Strayer-Wood: The Laramie Project, The
Threepenny Opera, Roosters, and To Kill a Mockingbird. Season
tickets, only $31 for UNI faculty and staff, are now available

GBPAC TICKETS ON SALE: Tickets are now available for all of the
performances at the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center for
the 2002-2003 season. Order tickets at the GBPAC ticket office or
by calling 273-SHOW. Ticket office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.

exhibitions: "ALCHEMY: From Common Materials To Extraordinary
Objects," an invitational exhibition of jewelry and small sculpture
