MORE MASSAGE DATES: Additional massage dates have been added to
the summer schedule in the Wellness Resource Lab. Please call
3-6119 to schedule a massage for Wednesday, July 10 or Wednesday,
July 17 between 11:00 and 4:00. Pay by cash, check, u-bill, or
payroll deduct. Gift certificates are available.
CONVERSATION PARTNERS: Learn more about people from other
countries and cultures. The UNI Culture & Intensive
English Program offers American students the opportunity to
meet and learn more about international students through its
Conversation Partners Program. Volunteer to meet students
from other countries for one hour a week for English conversation.

UNI RESEARCHERS ALERT: Beginning July 1, UNI faculty, staff and
students conducting research with human participants (nee subjects)
MUST use a revised application and consent form. Forms and updated
information are available at
or by calling the Graduate College (3-2748). You must allow a
minimum of two weeks for review and approval.
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE - 31st ST: As of July 1, 31st Street between
Ohio Street and Illinois Street is closed for reconstruction.
Weather permitting, the reconstruction is scheduled to be completed
by August 20. A temporary roadway will be constructed to provide
access to the Memfis house located along Universtiy Avenue. Once
the project has been completed, traffic flow on 31st Street will be
changed to ONE-WAY eastbound.
SUMMER CONFERENCES & CAMPS: The following groups will be on campus
during July 1 - 8: CIEP Mexican Teen Program, 2002 Panther Wrestling
Team Camp, Applications of Remote Sensing, and Volleyball Junior High
construction will close the westbound lanes of University Ave. Once
phase I is complete, the work will transfer to the south side of
Universtiy Avenue. At that time, the eastbound lanes of University
Ave. will close. The work related to the tunnel construction in
this area is scheduled to be complete in mid-August.


Library 4th of July Hours


The Management & Professional Development Center will
present "Understanding and Managing Stress" on Wed.,
July 17, and "Effective Communication: Getting Your Point
Across" on Tues., July 30. Workshops are held in CBB 1 - 3
from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the $132 fee includes participant
materials, refreshments and lunch. To register or for more
