CALL FOR REGISTRATION:
The registration deadline for the UNI Web Development Conference 2002
is Friday, May 31. The Web site development conference is for users
who already have a basic knowledge of html and some experience developing
a Web site will be offered at UNI Friday, June 7. The conference was
planned by a cross-section of campus Web developers to help anyone
who designs, plans, or maintains a Web site expand their skills (not

ADDITIONAL MASSAGE DATE:
An additional massage date has been added to the summer schedule.
Please call the Wellness Lab at 3-6119 to schedule your massage for
Thursday, May 30. Available time slots from 11:00 to 2:10. The cost
is $10 for 15 minutes. Sessions up to an hour may be purchased. Pay
by cash, check, u-bill, or payroll deduct.

2002 LEGISLATIVE SESSION REVIEW:
UNI faced several difficult challenges during the 2002 legislative
session. Those challenges had devastating effects on UNI's fiscal
year 2002 operating budget. There also are many unanswered questions
regarding the fiscal year 2003 operating budget. For a summary of

STATE FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
UNI will exhibit in the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State
Fair in Des Moines. Highlights include sales of University Book and
Supply merchandise, panther paw tattoos for children, ABIL Research
program and more. Faculty and staff volunteers are needed to work
UNI's exhibit in six hour shifts, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.,
August 8-18. Volunteer and shift preferences are scheduled on a first-come
first-served basis. To volunteer or for more information, please email

The Student Activities offices and NISG have moved from the lower

CEDAR VALLEY PERFORMERS:
Attend Creme de la Creme 2 Sunday, June 2, 3 p.m. at the GBPAC. Performances
by Debra Saylor, piano; the West High Show Choir; Randy Hogancamp,
percussion; Jeongwon Ham, piano and Jonathan Chenoweth, cello; Sarah
Taylor, dance; Jeff Brich, tenor; Bronze and Brass and the 'Five Grands'

SCHOOLHOUSE SOCIAL:
At the Marshall Center School, June 4 (5-7 year olds) and June 6 (8-11
year olds), from 10:00-12:00. Tour the school, play games and make
