GILMAN SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDY ABROAD (NEW): On May 24, 2001, the State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs announced the new Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, which will provide financial aid to U.S. undergraduates who wish to study abroad. GBPAC TICKETS: Single tickets for the 2001-2002 season at UNI's GBPAC are on sale now! For ticket information or to receive a season brochure contact the ticket office at 3-SHOW or visit our Web site at http://tickets.uni.edu.
CAMPUS SUPPLY: The Campus Supply store located in the Physical Plant and the Campus Supply warehouse on University Ave. will be closed for inventory June 28, 29 and July 2. We will reopen July 3. The last day to place orders for this fiscal year will be June 22. We ask your cooperation in placing orders ahead to avoid any inconvenience to your department. If you have any questions, please call Mary at 3-2451 or Cathy at 277-0765.
BICYCLE TUNE-UP: The UNI Outdoor Recreation Program, WRC 174 3-7163, provides basic bicycle tune-up and repair services. Bicycle Maintenance Clinics, which teach you the basics of maintaining your bike, are also offered. Bike tires low? ART EXHIBITION: The (UNI) Gallery of Art will present "Twenty-five Years in Iowa: Drawings and Sculpture by Nina Ward" June 11-Aug. 3. The exhibition at the UNI Gallery of Art is free and open to the public. Many of the artworks on display are for sale. Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Mon.- Fri.; Sat. and Sun. noon-4:30 p.m.
GOLF LESSONS: Want to improve your golf game? Sign up for golf lessons today! The WRC is offering golf lessons to help you improve your game! Lessons started June 18 and meet Mon. and Wed. from 4:45 p.m.-6:15 p.m. For more information, visit the Web site below.
