REGENTS STAFF EXCELLENCE AWARD WINNERS: The 2000 Regents Staff
Excellence Award winners are:
Jane Larson - Office of Exec. Asst. to Pres./External Relations
Carol Geiger - Administrative Assistant, Education & Student Services
Karen Agee - Reading/Learning Strategies Coord., Academic Advising Svs.
These individuals were chosen by a selection committee comprised of
colleagues in the UNI community and typify the excellence and
professionalism this award represents. The Regents Staff Excellence
Award recipients will be honored officially during the July Board of
Regents meeting at UNI.

HUMAN RESOURCES OPEN HOUSE: The campus community is invited to the
Human Resources Open House on Wednesday, June 7 from 2-4 p.m. Recent
renovations to offices in 104 and 111 Gilchrist may be viewed, and
refreshments will be served. This is a great opportunity for UNI
employees to meet new HR staff and to learn more about what the HR
staff does on a daily basis.

UNI SUZUKI SCHOOL: Free Northern Iowa Youth Orchestra Concert at the
GBPAC Davis Hall, Thursday, June 1, 7:30 p.m. Michael Fanelli will
direct students in grades nine through 12.

KUNI BLUES CRUISE: The KUNI "Blues Cruise" is Fri., June 2 leaving
Dubuque's Third Street Ice Harbor on the Spirit of Dubuque at 7:30 p.m.
Music is by Bob Dorr/Molly Nova & The Blue Band, 2 Bobs & A Babe, and
