NEWS

NEW FOOD SERVICES AT THE UNION: New food concepts will be offered in
the space in Maucker Union previously occupied by Hardees and the Panther
Deli. By fall semester, the installation will include a new coffee,
pastry and smoothie outlet plus food court outlets that may serve burgers,
soup, salad, and/or Asian foods. The Royal Oak Room will take on a new
role as a dining room that can be reserved for group meals or meetings.
Watch the Campus News Network for details.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
YEAR-END BUDGET/AIRLINE TICKETS: Please be advised the aprox. last date
to order airline tickets to pay on this year's budget will be May 19.
We cannot guarantee beyond that date. In addition, with so many tickets
being electronic, there is no longer a 'stop-gap' in Purchasing for us
to have a requisition in hand before release of tickets to the traveler.
Therefore departments should implement their own internal controls to
assure no tickets are issued without department approval. This does not
alleviate the need for requisitions to pay for air travel, which still
need to be received in Purchasing in a timely manner to assure departments
are charged accurately. Questions, call Roxanne Conrad at 273-3524
or e-mail
roxanne.conrad@uni.edu

navigational tools, digital cameras and scanners. All participants will
create and design an Internet site. The cost for the camp is $220
which includes all materials, meals and recreational activities. Contact
either Terri McDonald at 3-3076 or
