FINANCIAL AID ACADEMIC PROGRESS GUIDELINES CHANGED: The major changes
include: Students will be evaluated beginning with their second semester
at UNI; Full time students are expected to complete at least nine hours
per semester, and 1st BA students will be allowed up to 186 total hours
to complete their degree. These changes are seen as a positive move to
make financial aid more accessible to students. Please feel free to

AMRAM PRESENTATION: David Amram, James Hearst Scholar for the School
of Music, will present a program Tuesday, Feb. 29th, 6-7:30 p.m. in
Russell Hall 120 about his experiences with poet Jack Kerouac and

UNI JOB FAIR: The UNI Job Fair will be 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 1 in the
Maucker Union Expansion. May and Summer graduates and alumni are
invited to attend this free event. More than 80 employers, representing
business and industry, human services and government will provide
information about job opportunities with their organizations.

BIG SPLASH AND BAND ON THE WATER: Get ready for spring break with Big
Splash & Band on the Water featuring Paul Wright March 4. Make the
biggest splash from 7-8 p.m. and win a prize provided by Little Italy.
From 8-10 p.m. relax and float in an innertube while listening to Paul
Wright and his band. Registration for the Big Splash contest is

Regional this Saturday at N.U. High School. The Panthers look to
advance to the NCAA Championships. Competition begins at 10

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SENIOR DAY: After upsetting the top two teams in
the conference this weekend, UNI Women's Basketball closes out their
home schedule this Saturday afternoon vs. state rival Drake. Salute the
