will be distributing a copy of two updated brochures, "University Policy
Prohibiting Sexual Harassment," and "University Procedure for Resolution

FEB. ITS COMPUTER WORKSHOPS: The February schedule of free computer
workshops from ITS-ET is now online! Visit our website and check out
the "tried and true" offerings as well as the "new and unique". Also
look for our full page story in the Tuesday, Jan. 25th, Northern Iowan.
Faculty -- please tell your students about these workshops and
encourage them to attend!

MILLENNIUM LECTURE SERIES: The first presentation in the UNI
Millennium Lecture Series, Professor of Philosophy and Religion Jerry
Soneson's "Thinking About the End Times: From Ancient Israel to the
New Millennium" has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 26, 7 p.m.,
in Maucker Union Expansion.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES ADVISORS LUNCHEON: All student organization advisors
are invited to attend the Student Activities' Advisor Luncheon on
Wednesday, Jan. 26 from Noon-1 p.m. in Expansion C, Maucker Union. The
topic will be "Showin' you the money!" (an update on funding sources

Spring 2000 LEADERS ON LEADERSHIP Series sponsored by the UNI Leadership
Studies Program. His talk on Thursday, Jan. 27, 3:45-4:45 p.m. in
423 SEC is open to the campus community and the public.

SYMPHONY CONCERT: The Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra will present its
first concert of the new Millenium Friday Jan. 28 at 8 p.m. in Russell
Hall. Conducted by Rebecca Burkhardt, the concert will feature symphonies
by W. A. Mozart and William Boyce. Graduate student Tamrara(Tata)Sanikidze
will perform the final movement from Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto, No. 1
and Prof. Ron Johnson will conduct the UNI Chamber Wind Ensemble. It
is free and open to the public.

UNI TRACK & FIELD: Northern Iowa Track & Field hosts the Mercantile
Invitational this Friday in the UNI-Dome. The Panthers will compete
against Iowa State and Drake. Field events begin at 4 p.m., followed
by the running events at 6 p.m.

INTERNATIONAL COFFEE HOUR: The next International Coffee Hour is Friday,
Jan. 28, from 4-5:30 p.m. in International Services, House # 33 across
the street from University Book and Supply. Featured guest Dr. Michael
Blackwell will do some story-telling and read some of his own poetry.
Faculty, Staff, Students are cordially invited. Refreshments will be
