Your input is critical in the process to develop a Strategic Plan for UNI that will address the issues the University as a whole believes are important. This Strategic Plan will set the University's direction for the next several years. The University Museum will present two "Cocoa and Carols" programs at the Marshall Center One-Room School on Nov. 30, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and 7-8 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 12, from 2-3 p.m. The programs are free and everyone is invited! http://www.uni.edu/museum/ -------------------------------------------------------------------- TREELIGHTING CEREMONY: A tradition that began on the UNI campus in 1943 will be celebrated at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 30, with the holiday tree lighting ceremony. The tree lighting will take place north of Maucker Union, with Santa Claus arriving in a horse-drawn carriage. Around 7:15 p.m., festivities will continue inside Maucker Union with music, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, eggnog and cookies. Children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa Claus, and sleigh rides will be provided from 7:15 to 9 p.m. -------------------------------------------------------------------- MUSEUM GIFT SHOP HOLIDAY SALE: Need a gift for that special person? Come to the Museum's Gift Shop Holiday Sale and choose from a variety of international items, jewelry, books, music, t-shirts, children's toys & games and much more. A show about exploration, discovery and three women in search of new worlds.
