Click on "Access Desktop" at http://access.uni.edu/staff/home.htm -------------------------------------------------------------------- EVENTS ------ The Annual Art Song and Artistry series will present the AIDS Quilt Songbook on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. in RSL Aud. This free event is presented in collaboration with the UNI display of the AIDS Quilt, Oct. 19-20. The Songbook was conceived as an artistic response to the AIDS crisis in 1993. A pastiche of songs by various outstanding American composers, the work will be performed by UNI students, with special faculty guest, Jeffrey Brich. Robin Guy, of the UNI faculty, will play piano. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display Tuesday, Oct. 19 from noon-10 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. in the Maucker Union Expansion. http://uni.edu/wellrec/frames/checkframe.html -------------------------------------------------------------------- ITS will celebrate its newly-formed EdTech Department with an Open House at the Center for Educational Technology (CET) Building on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EdTech has resulted from a merger of the former Production and Training Services. The Open House will showcase the variety of services in EdTech, and provide an opportunity to meet the new director, Marilyn Drury. The program features faculty performers from the brass, woodwind, percussion, vocal, keyboard, string and conducting areas, with assistance from three students and one guest artist.
