The campus United Way campaign is underway. Please take a moment to

The Allen Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a new free service for UNI
employees who are eligible for health coverage. The EAP can help you
and your family deal with personal problems. Several 20-minute 
orientation sessions are scheduled in September. Check the HRS EAP

EVENTS

Don't forget the Fourth Annual UNI Saturday Celebration, a picnic 
for all University of Northern Iowa faculty, staff and their 
families. Hosted by President Robert Koob and Yvonne Koob, the 
celebration will be Saturday, Sept. 11, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., on 
the south lawn of the President's home. Food, drinks and table 
service are provided. Please bring lawn chairs or a blanket.

The Office of the Provost and Rod Library are presenting an 
Intellectual Property workshop Thursday, Sept. 30. The workshop will 
examine copyright law and the academic rights and responsibilities in

Last week was a great week for UNI Athletics. The volleyball team 
opened 5-0, the men's cross country team won its meet, and the 
football team beat 5th-ranked McNeese State 41-17 on the road.
