Fair is Not Equal - Honoring Diversity and Equity in Today's Mathematics & Science Classroom is the first Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program-sponsored webinar. Attendees can join the discussion as part of the live audience or can watch and post questions online at http://univnia.adobeconnect.com/noyce/. Web panelists will be Catherine M. Miller, dept. of mathematics; Nicole Skaar, dept. of educational psychology & foundations; and Mark Grey, director of the Iowa Center for Immigrant Leadership and Integration. This is the first of three webinars to be offered during the 2011-12 school year. Two more webinars will be hosted by the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program at the University of Iowa and Iowa State University during the spring semester.
