The Center for Violence Prevention will host a Victim Service Institute. Roger Canaff, anti-violence advocate and legal expert, will present “Balancing Victim Services with Threats Posed by Repeat Offenders: Best Practices for Keeping Your Campus Safe” and “Understanding and Working with Counter-Intuitive Victim Behavior." Kristina Korbov, director of prosecutor education, Indianapolis, will present “Did Yardley Love Have to Die: College Dating Violence, Institutional Response, and Victim Blaming” and one break-out session titled “Laying the Groundwork for a Winnable Case."
