The UNI Women's Rugby Club will play University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Monday, October 12, 2015 - 7:00 pm

As a part of the homecoming week festivities, CAB will be host two showings of the Disney Pixar film "Inside Out." Showings are at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Bring your friends and enjoy snacks and soda as you take a break from your studies for a few hours by watching this heart-warming film. 

Tuesday, October 13, 2015 - 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Volunteers will help maintain property and provide barn maintenance for the ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program. Volunteers will need to wear close-toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing. There are two sessions at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Meet outside the Center for Multicultural Education. Transportation and a t-shirt will be provided.

Come celebrate homecoming week with UNI Proud at our annual BBQ at the Threehouse.  Join us for burgers, hot dogs, and marshmallows.  Vegan options will be available.

The UNI Chinese Language and Culture Association and UNI Veterans Association will host a night of fun while playing various Chinese games. Refreshments will be served.

The UNI Gospel Choir meets every Tuesday; bring your instruments and voices. All are welcome.

Wednesday, October 14, 2015 - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

The UNI Freethinkers and Inquirers will host its annual Flying Spaghetti Monster Dinner. There will be raffle tickets and prizes awarded at the dinner, a dress-like-a-pirate photo booth, some words from our members and free spaghetti provided by UNI Catering.

The UNI TESOL club will host a conversation corner to give all TESOL students an opportunity to visit with international students and help them with English related issues. The event is open to all TESOL students and international students.

The UNI Ballroom and Swing Dance Club will host an evening of Swing dancing. No partner or experience needed; free admission.

Friday, October 16, 2015 - 6:35 pm

The Film Appreciation Club will show Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 horror classic Psycho. This will be the first of a three week Halloween History of Horror series.

Saturday, October 17, 2015 - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Join the Panther Pacers in kicking off the homecoming game celebration with their annual 5k. The run consists of multiple terrains including grass, gravel, dirt, etc. Register by Oct. 5 to receive a t-shirt; registration closes at midnight Oct. 12. Cost is $15 online; $20 for day-of registration. Medals will be handed out to winners in their respective age group. A light breakfast will be served after the run. Proceeds will benefit the Panther Pacers Running Club.

Thursday, October 22 has been declared National Love Your Melon Day! Love Your Melon college ambassadors will dress as superheroes and visit over 200 children's hospitals across the
country to hand out hats to children battling cancer, as well as host household donation events. In honor of the 3rd anniversary of Love Your Melon and Love Your Melon Day, the UNI LYM campus crew will be selling Love Your Melon hats and apparel outside of Maucker Union! The event starts at 9:30am and goes until our supplies run out so get there quick!

Basic is a college-age worship community. There is a free meal beforehand at Nazareth Lutheran Church at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, October 24, 2015 - 10:00 am to 12:30 pm

The Service and Leadership Council is sponsoring the annual Make a Difference Day. Any size group may participate; participants will receive a Service and Leadership Council t-shirt, Days of Service water bottle and snacks.

Join the Explorers of Religion and Philosophy Club in a picnic with free food (hamburgers, hot dogs and vegeburgers) and games with fellow students and professors.

UNI PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) will be hosting a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings. A portion of your meal will benefit the PRSSA organization which will help us
to maintain funds so that we can attend conferences and other beneficial events. Go enjoy some Monday Night Football and some tasty wings!

UNI Proud presents the Halloween Drag-A-Ganza. This year's show will feature more performers than in previous years. This is a student focused event for students who want to try drag.

Thursday, October 29, 2015 - 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm

The UNI Supporters of the United States Army (UNISUSA) will host a 5KM "Zombie Run." The run is a fun course through campus where participants will encounter zombies who will chase them. Each participant will begin the race with two balloons and the zombies will attempt to pop the balloons. The goal is to make it through the entire course without getting infected (getting your balloons popped) with the best time. Proceeds from the run will assist UNISUSA in their efforts to support UNI ROTC cadets by providing them with funds to compete in events such as range challenge, the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge and other field training exercises. This run is appropriate for all ages.
