The Clothesline Project

Tuesday, October 18, 2016 - 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

The UNI Women's and Gender Studies Program in partnership with Student Wellness Services will participate in The Clothesline Project in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Clothesline Project is a program that raises awareness for violence against women, the LGBTQ* community and other marginalized populations. People who have been affected by violence, be it first-hand or otherwise, are invited to decorate a t-shirt with their thoughts, feelings and supportive messages surrounding the subject. These shirts will then be hung on a clothesline in Maucker Union.
