Gamma Phi Beta's Crescent Classic Par-tee & Par-tea

Gamma Phi Beta will host the 2nd annual Crescent Classic Par-tee & Par-tea: Golf Tournament and Tea Party. The golf tournament will be a four-person best shot with a shot gun start at 8:30 a.m. Golfing is $55 for adults, $40 for students and includes 18-holes of golf, lunch and a free cart. We will also host a tea-party and lunch for the non-golfers from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.; cost is $10.  Other activities are a silent auction, raffle and vendors selling various items. If you would like to register for the golf tournament, buy a lunch ticket or have any questions contact Kelli Alexander at gpbcrescentclassic@gmail.com. Proceeds benefit our philanthropy, Building Strong Girls.

CAB Informational Meeting - Join CAB!

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run event programming organization. Its purpose is to plan and execute a variety of successful events and reflective of the diverse interests and needs of the student body. CAB strives through its programs, to entertain, educate and enrich while building a cohesive campus community.

CAB is currently comprised of 70 active students that make up six committees. The committees include Publicity, Entertainment, Speakers, Film, Concerts, Spotlight and Homecoming.

Attendance at an informational meeting is required in order to join this organization.

College Fair

The University of Northern Iowa, in conjunction with the Iowa Association of College Admissions Counselors, is inviting students from Iowa high schools to participate in the 2014 College Fair.

High school juniors and seniors will visit with representatives from more than 85 postsecondary institutions from Iowa and surrounding states during the fair.

Students will also have the opportunity to browse displays from the visiting institutions, which include two- and four-year public and private colleges, universities, community colleges, technical and cosmetology schools, as well as the military.

Participants should pre-register for the fair by accessing the registration form at www.iowacollegefairs.com. The student's information will not be shared with any third party vendors. The information will only be shared with the colleges and universities selected by the students.
