Campus Activities Board (CAB) will host Jamie Tworkowski, founder of To Write Love on Her Arms. TWLOHA is a a non-profit organization that helps with mental illness and suicide awareness.
This dynamic one night event couples an incredible concert by Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors and a performance by hip-hop artist Thi'sl along with a captivating presentation by Joe White asking the question "Is Jesus Relevant Today?" Admission is free and seating is first come, first served.
Attention all performers and talented people. The UNI Black Student Union (BSU), will host an Open Mic Night with special guest hosts Nicole Lyricc and Rage Almighty. UNI will host the Nationals Sweet 16 and Elite 8 Division I and II Women's Rugby Tournament. Eight teams will compete for a spot in the National Final Four tournament in December. UNI will battle Texas A&Mat 2:30 pm. Come out and support your fellow Panthers on their journey to nationals. There will be tailgating prior to the games. Kickoffs are scheduled for 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Polar Bear Run, sponsored by CATS is a one mile walk/run throughout campus, free to participants who donate clothing and/or nonperishable food items the evening of the event, there will be a raffle after the run. All donations will be given to the House of Hope and Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
Attend to network with graduate faculty and students from programs across campus. Hear from Dr. April Chatham-Carpenter, the Interim Dean, previous participants, and judges about the Graduate College's signature event, the 8th Annual Graduate Student Symposium. Refreshments will be provided.
