Walk, run, or bike – you choose! Walk: enjoy a leisurely guided walk led by Tallgrass Prairie Center staff which will explore the Campus Preserves and trail system near campus. Run: the Panther Pacers Running Club will lead a run along trails east and northeast of campus. Bike: let UNI staff members who enjoy cycling lead you along trails east and north of campus, through Black Hawk Park and around Big Woods Lake – must bring your own bike and helmet to participate. Note: the Run and Bike tours will stop at Panthers on Main before returning to campus.
Zumba is the fitness craze that fuses Latin-based rhythms with motivating music, unique moves, and challenging combinations.
Participate in a large group community service project alongside other new Panthers, guided by the Volunteer Center Cedar Valley
Transportation will be provided from campus to Target, where the store will be open especially for UNI students to experience promotions, giveaways, prizes, and entertainment.
The film will be shown on the video screen in the UNI-Dome.

Panther Open Houses are held several times throughout the year for prospective high school and transfer students. You and your family can meet with faculty members and talk about majors, minors, classes – all things academics. You’ll get the inside scoop from current UNI students who will take you on a tour of campus and eat lunch with you in one of our dining centers. Your campus visit wraps up with a group session on admission requirements, financing your education and living on campus.
