You may choose to visit the UNI campus on a Saturday morning when you and your family can attend a group presentation and a campus tour. There will be information sessions for both high school and transfer students. This option is intended for students who do not need individual counseling, but instead want an overview of admission requirements, academic majors, costs and campus life. After the presentation you and your family are invited to be our guests for lunch at the Piazza, one of UNI's recently renovated dining centers.

The Hispanic Latino Student Union is hosting a Quinceañera Dance Party. Come and celebrate the last event for Hispanic Heritage Month. Admission is free; refreshments provided.

Attending one of UNI's Panther Peek Visit Days will give you and your family the opportunity to learn all about your future college life at UNI. We'll show you around campus and let you see the residence halls you'll likely call home. You also will get a chance to talk to UNI representatives about academics and possible majors, financial aid and student life.

Join the Multicultural Teaching Alliance and learn what it's like to teach or student teach internationally. Guest speakers (including a student teacher who will Skype with us from Costa Rica) will share their first-hand experiences with international teaching and discuss how education majors can complete their student teaching in an international placement.

Come to a presentation by Dr. Roberto Swazo (Clemente) on diversity and muliticulturalism. The program will be held in the Center for Multicultural Education.

Christine Schick from Career Services will offer resume building tips. All majors and minors are invited to learn about internships, job opportunities, networking and resume building. Door prizes awarded.

Alpha Delta Pi is holding their 2nd annual Pi an ADPi event. Take a break from studying and come out to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Check out our event on facebook- Pie an ADPi Philanthropy Event. It will be held outside Mauker Union

NEW! Everyone has 5 minutes to give!

Stop & Serve, a new event sponsored by the Student Involvement Center, provides brief, on-campus volunteer opportunities for students. Students have the opportunity to work on service projects focused on a variety of social issues in the community, region, and nation.

Students are welcome to stop by Maucker Union for however long they have to give. There is no time commitment required. All projects are easy and fun, so bring some friends, enjoy free treats, and do some good for your community!
