Saturday Visit Day

There will be information sessions for both high school and transfer students. This option is intended for students who do not need individual counseling, but instead want an overview of admission requirements, academic majors, costs and campus life. After the presentation you and your family are invited to be our guests for lunch at the Piazza, one of UNI's recently renovated dining centers.

Stop & Serve, a new event sponsored by the Student Involvement Center, provides brief, on-campus volunteer opportunities for students. Students have the opportunity to work on service projects focused on a variety of social issues in the community, region and nation.
Students are welcome to stop by Maucker Union for however long they have to give. There is no time commitment required. All projects are easy and fun, so bring some friends, enjoy free treats and do some good for your community!

Make A Difference Day

Millions of volunteers around the world unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others. UNI students will participate in various community service projects in the Cedar Valley such as Cedar River clean-up, weatherization of Washington Chapel and cleaning the Waterloo Community Garden.
