The Northern Iowa Student Government will host a debate for all declared presidential and vice presidential candidates. Come and listen as candidates discuss their platforms and answer questions from our moderator. There will be time for questions from the audience.

UNI Dance Marathon will hold its first UNI Dance Marathon Big Event. UNI Dance Marathon raises money for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network. The event will be 12 hours long and participants will stand the entire 12 hours.

The Plinian Society will discuss a recent outcry of arsenic-based life and how data and findings were manipulated by the scientist and media.

UNI’s Real Estate organization, Rho Epsilon, will hold an informational meeting. Pizza and pop will be provided. This is an opportunity to start getting your name out to possible future employers. All majors are welcome. For more information contact Charlie Peterson at petercac@uni.edu.

UNI's Campus Activities Board is continuing the Cooking with CAB series this semester, bringing in the new semester with grab-and-go walking tacos. Stop by the Hemisphere Lounge for free food! The series will continue on the third Wednesday of each month with another free lunch on the go!

The Plinian Society will host guest speaker Dr. John Groves, paleontologist from UNI. Dr. Groves interest involve systematics, evolution and biostratigraphy of Paleozoic foraminiferans. Come and join us to learn more about this interesting extinct creature!

Help Alpha Xi Delta raise awareness and research funds for Autism Speaks. Events include a basket auction, carnival games, food and more. Form a team of up to five people to compete in the Puzzlepalooza Challenge, a puzzle competition. Cost is $5 per person to participate and all funds raised will benefit  Autism Speaks.
