This event is a thank you to the campus for supporting and participating in all of the Black History Month events.

There will be laser tag, adrenaline rush, velcro wall, bungee run, music, and fun!!!

The University of Northern Iowa Dance Marathon strives to provide hope and comfort for families with children facing life threatening illnesses by raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and hosting events that heighten student and community awareness. UNI Dance Marathon will host their first dance marathon in the Maucker Union on UNI's campus. Come out and help us raise money for the Children's Miracle Network and U of I Children's Hospital. There will be dancing, games and various themed rooms!

The Northern Iowa Student Government will host a debate for all declared presidential and vice presidential candidates. Come and listen as candidates discuss their platforms and answer questions from our moderator. There will be time for questions from the audience.

UNI Dance Marathon will hold its first UNI Dance Marathon Big Event. UNI Dance Marathon raises money for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network. The event will be 12 hours long and participants will stand the entire 12 hours.

The Plinian Society will discuss a recent outcry of arsenic-based life and how data and findings were manipulated by the scientist and media.

UNI’s Real Estate organization, Rho Epsilon, will hold an informational meeting. Pizza and pop will be provided. This is an opportunity to start getting your name out to possible future employers. All majors are welcome. For more information contact Charlie Peterson at petercac@uni.edu.

UNI's Campus Activities Board is continuing the Cooking with CAB series this semester, bringing in the new semester with grab-and-go walking tacos. Stop by the Hemisphere Lounge for free food! The series will continue on the third Wednesday of each month with another free lunch on the go!

Come one, come all! Be amazed by the burlesque dancing and performances presented by UNI students and alumni at the Oster-Regent Theatre. Bring your UNI ID for free admission.

The Plinian Society will host guest speaker Dr. John Groves, paleontologist from UNI. Dr. Groves interest involve systematics, evolution and biostratigraphy of Paleozoic foraminiferans. Come and join us to learn more about this interesting extinct creature!

The 5K Run for the Preserves is a cross country race to promote the use of UNI’s beautiful natural preserves by students and community members.  Registration is $10 for students and $12 for non-students.  Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the race starting at 10 a.m.  Register before September 30 and recieve a free shirt!  For more information and to register visit http://www.studentnaturesociety.com/5kinfo
