The Film Appreciation Club will watch the 1975 Best Picture nominee "Dog Day Afternoon," starring Al Pacino.
The Campus Activities Board will host a screening of the movie "Sisters." Showings are at 7 and 9:30 p.m.
The Honors Student Advisory Board will host the inaugural Honors Olympics. Teams of four will compete in brain games and athletic competitions to be crowned the Honors Olympics gold medalists. Participants can sign up as an individual and be assigned to a team. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. on the Honors Cottage lawn and the event goes until 8 p.m.
The Honors Student Advisory Board will have a quiz bowl. Teams of up to four members can participate in a sudden death quiz tournament for a grand prize. Participants can sign up as an individual and assigned to a team. The final round will include two student teams and a guest team of UNI faculty members. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. and the event runs from 7 to 9 p.m.
NISG will host Panther Bash where students can "de-stress" and meet the student government president and vice-president for the 2016-17 academic year. The event will have a carnival theme with a dunk tank, mini pig and many more fun activities.
Fundraising to grant a wish a child with life-threatening medical condition
The UNI Chinese Language and Culture Association will show the film chronicling the Zhou Dynasty and the firtst warring states period of Chinese history.
The Delta Chi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta will have a 5K run/walk AmaXIng Challenge. This is a color run to help raise awareness and support for Autism Speaks.
