David Vaudt, state auditor, will discuss UNI's financial status. His presentation will cover how to read and understand a university budget. The presentation is hosted by NISG and is open to students, faculty and staff.

Meat Loaf Concert

Meat Loaf has announced dates for his fall tour, including a stop at the University of Northern Iowa
The concert is part of his Mad Mad World Tour in support of his newly released album, "Hell in a Handbasket." The singer-songwriter is perhaps best known for such tunes as "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" and "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" that have made Meat Loaf one of the top-selling recording artists of all time. His album, "Bat Out of Hell", has sold more than 43 million copies and his total album sales are in excess of 100 million.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, Sept.15, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, McLeod Center, online at www.unitix.uni.edu or by phone 319-273-4849. All seats are reserved and ticket prices start at $44.25. The performance is supported by The Isle and is in partnership with Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, Maucker Union and UNI Athletics.

"MOVE," the first film released by Invisible Children since the return of founder and Chief Creative Officer Jason Russell, is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the most viral video ever, the organization behind it and the movement that made an African warlord famous. In this new movie, which was co-directed by Russell (who also directed KONY 2012), a generation is challenged to stand for justice.
