The UNI Speech team will present their annual spring showcase: "A Night of Active Voices!" In the top 10 nationally for the past three years, the team will showcase award-winning, dynamic and entertaining speech and acting performances on current issues. Laugh, cry, cheer and think with the nationally recognized Speech Panthers. Admission is free; donations accepted.
Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society will host a speed reading workshop presented by Iris Reading. Participants will learn simple ways to increase reading speed, as well as how to improve comprehension, remember more of what you read, read faster on the computer screen, improve concentration while reading and read technical material more effectively. The workshop is open to all UNI students and staff, with extra discounts available for those that sign up in pairs or groups.

The Honors Student Advisory will host the 2nd Annual Honors Quiz Bowl. Teams of up to four students will participate in a sudden death quiz tournament (open to all students). The final round will include two student teams competing for a prize and a guest team of UNI faculty members (Jeff Byrd, Jay Lees and Jessica Moon) trying to steal points from both student teams.
