Guest Lecture: Chad Pregracke

Wed, 02/20/2013 - 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Chad Pregracke grew up on the Mississippi River and realized that the Mississippi, along with many other rivers, needed to be cleaned up. Since 1998, he has created a social movement around improving the quality of our nation's rivers. Chad shares an incredible message about how one person can use an environmental issue to make a large impact on the planet.

Mon, 11/12/2012 - 8:00pm - 10:00pm

We want to recognize all the work that students have done on different campaigns. We want to have some fun while telling funny election stories.

Join us in Maucker Union Ballroom C from 8-10 for a classy night featuring free food and beverages, a performance by Half-Masted (UNI's own improv comedy troupe!) and UNI's Jazz Band IV. Chat about the election and tell that one hilarious story about door knocking or phone banking.
This event is hosted by One Iowa at UNI, Northern Iowa Democrats, and UNI College Republicans.
