"Elect Her - Panther Women Win" is a leadership training that cultivates the skills young women need to run for student government and excel in leadership positions. Students learn how to craft a message, networking skills and hear from inspiring speakers, including elected officials and a communications expert. A networking reception will follow the event. This is event is sponsored by the Political Science Department with additional funding from AAUW Cedar Falls. Students can register at pantherwomenwin2016.eventbrite.com.
AAUW for UNI presents the Women in Politics Film Series. December's feature will be "Miss Representation," a documentary about media portrayals of women and the impacts on women in elected office. All are welcome.
Campus Activities Board's film committee will host two screenings of the movie "Straight Outta Compton" at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Door prizes for both screenings will include the movie's soundtrack and more; check out the trailer here.

The UNI Residence Hall Association will host an Extreme Bingo event. There will be two sessions; the first begins at 7 p.m. and the second begins at 9:30 p.m. Prizes include Apple watches, fit bits, gift cards and more. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
UNI PRSSA will host a fundraising event at Ginger's Pub. Doors open at 8 p.m.; the first band begins at 9 p.m. Admission is $3 for age 21 and older; $5 for age 18-20 with a student ID.
Celebrate the seasons with Campus Activities Board (CAB). There will be food, activities, games, prizes as well live entertainment by electro hip hop violinist, Svet, as seen on NBC's hit TV show America's Got Talent.
Campus Activities Board (CAB) presents the Panther Showcase. Support your fellow students. Audience members will have the chance to vote for their favorite act. Guest performers will be TK and TC. Dakaboom, a duo music/comedy pair, will serve as emcees.
Volunteers will assist with packing backpacks for the weekend food program. Volunteers should wear close-toed shoes. There are two sessions at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Transportation and snack will be provided.
