The Upsilon Nu Iota chapter of Chi Sigma Iota is sponsoring the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Campus Walk. The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness and funds to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy and support survivors of suicide loss.
Colleges Against Cancer will host guest speaker Dr. Richard Deming. He is the medical director of Mercy Cancer Center in Des Moines and the founder of Above + Beyond Cancer, a nonprofit dedicated to elevating the lives of those touched by cancer. His greatest ambition is to encourage others to pursue lives of meaning, purpose, passion and compassion. This event is free and open to the public.

The Spring Leadership Conference: Give, Serve, Lead will be held on three Tuesdays in Feburary. The first event will feature a speaker discussing microagressions (small discriminatory actions that affect many groups every day). Give your time to become better educated on important social issues. Cookies and lemonade will be provided. Registration is required.
Given the untimely passing of legendary rock star David Bowie, the Film Appreciation Club will be screening 1986's Labyrinth, featuring Bowie in his iconic role as the Goblin King.
The Ballroom and Swing Club, joined by ISU, U of I and Luther College, will host a mock competition to prepare for future dance competitions.
The Ballroom and Swing Club will host a decade dance. Participants should wear clothing from their favorite decade. There will be free dance lessons. Admission is free.
