This event, a new tradition, is an evening of information sharing, networking, fellowship and dessert. The Rainbow Reception is an opportunity for UNI students, faculty and staff to welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ally students back to campus for the new academic year.

If you are a new transfer student at UNI, stop by this informal event for free pizza, drinks and cookies. You'll enjoy a free lunch and conversation with other new transfer students, and have the opportunity to connect with a variety of campus departments.

Stop by for free fruit, water, pens, bookmarks and an array of health and wellness information.

First-year students in the Cornerstone class were asked to read "The Warmth of Other Suns" over the summer. This presentation is a great opportunity for Cornerstone students and the entire UNI community to hear from the author of this award-winning book.

Stop by one of these information booths to ask questions about where to find the places you need to go around campus or any other topics of interest.

Come celebrate the beginning of the new school year with the members of Campus Activities Board and Fraternity and Sorority Life. Listen to some great music, meet some new people and dance the night away. Free glow sticks at the door. No outside food or drinks allowed.

Enjoy entertainment and shopping on the award-winning Community Main Street. Buses will run on a continuous loop between campus and downtown Cedar Falls. Two campus pick-up spots: the Panther Shuttle stop behind Curris Business Building or in front of Bartlett Hall.
