Executive Vice President and Provost

The STEM Chat topic will be "Opportunities On and Off Campus" with Phillip Plourde and Carolina Coronado-Park. They will share how faculty and staff can become involved in CIEP, other on-campus international opportunties and opportunities abroad. There will be information about resources and programs that help faculty connect with colleagues in other countries, UNI's current international partners and more.

September STEM Chat

The topic will be UNI STEM Ambassadors, a program that was revamped during the summer. STEM Ambassadors are undergraduate volunteers with declared STEM majors or minors who represent their department at on and off campus STEM events. UNI STEM provides professional development, organization of the group and incentives (t-shirts, uniforms, transcript notations) for participation. Attendees will learn about the program, how to nominate a student from your department and help identify events and activities for which STEM Ambassadors can assist.
