View the evening sky from the UNI observatory located on the roof of McCollum Science Hall. Meet near the polar bear outside of room 137 before 9 p.m. to be escorted to the roof. The event goes forward regardless of the weather.
Under the direction of UNI percussion faculty Randy Hogancamp and Matthew Andreini, the UNI Percussion and West African Drum Ensembles will offer their final spring concert along with UNI’s Taiko drum ensemble Kaji-Daiko and the UNI Marimba Ensemble. This event is free and open to the public.
CLUB SERIES - Beginning in the New York coffeehouse and club circuits with her trademark Grammy nominated hit "Stay (I Missed You)", Lisa Loeb returns to the pop/rock world with her newest record, "No Fariy Tale."
The Final Thursday Reading Series will host Larry Baker, author of the new novel The Education of Nancy Adams. Open mic signup is at 7 p.m. and begins at 7:15 p.m. Participants are invited to share five minutes of original poetry, fiction or creative nonfiction. The featured author takes the stage at 8 p.m. followed by a short question and answer period as time allows. Free and open to the public.
