The New Horizons Band will offer its spring concert. Under the direction of Diana Blake, the New Horizons Band features musicians 55 and older who travel from all over Iowa. This event is free and open to the public.
Pi Sigma Epsilon will host the 11th annual Sprint into Spring 5k charity run/walk. Proceeds will benefit Magical Mix Kids, a local charity supporting Cedar Valley kids who have a terminal or chronic illness. The course will wind through campus. Visit the UNI Observatory to learn about the objects in the night sky and view the planets through the Earth Science telescope. Free and open to the public. Meet near the polar bear outside of 137 McCollum Science Hall before 9 p.m. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
