The Department of Theatre will hold auditions for fall productions of Lysistrata and November. Returning students are encouraged to attend on Sunday, Aug. 19. New students and non-theatre majors are encouraged to attend on Monday, Aug. 20. Actors who are called back may have evening commitments on Aug. 21 and Aug. 22. Those with special circus skills should plan to attend on Thursday, Aug. 23.

Bb Learn 9 offers a number of assessment tools including an online assignment tool for students to submit assignments electronically and a tool for online delivery of tests and surveys. Additionally, UNI has licensed the Turnitin Building Block which gives Blackboard users convenient access to Turnitin’s suite of learning tools, including Originality Check (plagiarism prevention) and GradeMark™, from within the Bb Learn 9 environment. Guest speaker for the annual UNI Fall Faculty Workshop will be Dr. Todd Zakrasjek, visiting associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
