VanWyk will provide an overview of the issues impacting children with parents in the military and offer suggestions for supporting these children and their families. The UNI School of Music presents its annual Vocal Arts Festival for high school student vocalists preparing for All-State competition and interested in vocal music at UNI. This event does require registration.

UNI School of Music faculty artist Kui-Im Lee will present an organ recital. This event is free and open to the public.
The UNI Forensics Team will be hosting its annual all-events high school tournament. This event will host competition in debate (Student Congress, Lincoln Douglas, Public Forum, and Policy), and individual speech events. Schools representing 13 Iowa high schools will compete during this two day tournament.
