Awards will be presented to graudate students and graduate faculty at the Annual Graduate Faculty Meeting. There will also be a panel discussion featuring selected representatives from a few of UNI's many high quality graduate programs. A reception in the Sabin Atrium will follow the meeting.
Visit the UNI Observatory to learn about the objects in the night sky and view the planets through the Earth Science telescope. Free and open to the public. Meet near the polar bear outside of 137 McCollum Science Hall before 9 p.m. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
This spring recital will feature faculty artists Frederick Halgedahl, violin, and Sean Botkin, piano. Repertoire to be announced. This event is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of UNI School of Music professor and conductor S. Daniel Galyen, the Symphonic Band will offer a spring concert. This event is free and open to the public.
The Sixth Annual Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony will feature a presentation by Inge Auerbacher, survivor of Terezín (Theresienstadt) Concentration Camp. Auerbacher is the author of several books on the Holocaust, including the story of her survival, I Am a Star; and the recipient of numerous awards for her books and work teaching tolerance and human rights. The ceremony will include a performance of music, the lighting of candles in memory of the victims of the Holocaust and other genocides as well as a special presentation to the Grout Museum at the end of the ceremony. The event is free and open to the public. Sponsors are the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Education, Sons of Jacob Synagogue of Waterloo, Cedar Valley Interfaith Council, Catholic Parishes of Waterloo, the Peace and Justice Center of the Cedar Valley and the College of Humanities, Arts and Sciences.
Join the RRTTC and CAB for a free screening of the movie Wall-E. The film will be shown at 7 and 9:30 p.m. in honor of UNI Earthweek Celebration. Free snacks and beverages will be provided but remember to bring your own reusable cup!

Rho Epsilon will host Wells Fargo Financial-Lending from Des Moines. Learn about the company and opportunities they have available for internships and full-time employment. This is the last meeting of the year. Free pizza will be served at the Other Place following the meeting. All majors are welcome.
